Anti-Heroes are a different type of hero compared to the archetypal hero. While normal heroes are typically shown as flawless, an anti-hero will have a few traits that conflict with being an immaculate human being. But that is a good balance, it's unrealistic to have these heroes who do no wrong, as an anti-hero is a common and far more believable kind of hero. Tyler Durden, from the book Fight Club, is a great example. He is the protagonist and essentially hero, although he is an extremely flawed person. He wants to do good and "end corporation-run culture", but does so by violent and unnecessary means. He frequently engages in brutal pointless fights but also looks out for the common man, with questionable methods.
